Workshop led by Cruel Valentine

In this workshop, we'll dive into the world of financial domination with professional and lifestyle financial dominatrix, Cruel Valentine. In addition to their work in kink and the arts, Valentine is also an activist and a certified specialist in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and they fold these worlds together by using BDSM and sexuality as a vehicle for reparations, social change, and racial justice. We'll discuss how financial domination and other BDSM dynamics can be an effective tool for dismantling white supremacy and tearing down disparities in privilege and access.

Known as “Chicago’s Own Community Chest”, Cruel Valentine is an award-winning, international burlesque entertainer, adult film performer, dominatrix, actor, dancer, writer, and artist. Valentine began performing the art of burlesque in 2007.

Valentine is an independent performer, producer, and teacher of burlesque, as well as an adult performer with The Lust Garden, featured on Pink Label. Most recently, their acclaimed erotic film, "Mirror, Mirror", won the award for Best Solo at the Unholy Fans Black Queer Porn festival, presented by Strapped Toronto.
